Surviving Esophageal Cancer

Surviving Esophageal Cancer (SEC) is the story of my battle with this difficult diagnosis. I am recording my journey from diagnosis to cure. The changes to my body are going to be intense. It started with having a port surgically implanted that connects to my jugular vein in my neck. Next, I start my chemo and radiation therapy which will last 6 weeks followed by surgery to remove my esophagus and replace it with a section of my colon.
